ABOUT RADIANT LIFE

Abstract black background with white wavy lines crossing horizontally.

It isn’t just what happens to us that causes trauma…

It’s what happens when there’s no one there to hear your story, when there’s no one to believe you, and no one there to defend you that causes the brain and body to store a memory as trauma. At Radiant Life, we want to be that person to hold space for your story, remind you that you are not alone, and guide you on the path towards healing.

OUR VALUES

  • Sunset over a mountain with a lake in the foreground. peaceful, quiet, breathtaking, emotional.

    Hope

Life can feel difficult and lonely. It may feel pointless to continue on in your current ways of living or your relationship. When your hope is gone, we will continue to hold hope for you because we believe in healing. We believe in a healthier, more authentic life.

    Safety & Inclusivity

From the moment you walk into our doors, we strive to create an environment that allows for the nervous system to feel safe and relaxed. We welcome all stories with a nonjudgmental presence that makes room for openness and healing.

  • A person with curly hair covering part of their face, wearing a cream-colored or white garment, against a plain light background. authentic, cultural diversity, joy, celebration.

    Authenticity

Radiant Life wants to help each and every person grow and feel safe in who they are and who they were made to be. Many circumstances in life can impact our behavior and who we pretend to be. During your time here, you won’t need to pretend as you process and work with your therapist towards living authentically inside and outside of these walls.

  • Two hands, one with a brown sweater and one with a white sleeve, are touching or holding each other against a plain background. bonding and togetherness. Becoming one in connection.

    Compassion

Many of our stories are far too painful to look upon with compassion. It is our hope in our time together that you feel a sense of connection and compassion from your therapist so that you can begin to learn how to hold space for compassion towards yourself and your story

OUR STORY

Radiant Life’s story began 20 years ago when the founder, Kelly, was in a deep depression. Mental health issues were still pretty stigmatized back then and the proper help was difficult to come by. Kelly’s depression turned into an eating disorder, which led her to a psychiatrist who was able to lead Kelly down a path that changed her life. Kelly needed a place to feel heard, to feel safe, and to feel understood. She needed the guidance towards the right treatment plan for her for the time and eventually the right family therapist to heal the family as well.

It was many years later that Radiant Life was founded because Kelly wanted to make sure that people had access to the kind of care that led to lasting change and healing. Maybe you relate to this story, or maybe you don’t identify with this story at all. Kelly’s story is just one of the many stories that the radiant life team of therapists have personally experienced.

You are not alone and you deserve to have your story heard.
