Liz Aghamkar
Master’s Level Intern
It takes courage to turn inward, especially when parts of yourself have been neglected, silenced, or carry pain.
In our work together, I aim to create a space that welcomes all of you: the tender, the uncertain, the hopeful. I believe healing begins when we are met with curiosity instead of judgment, and when we’re given permission to slow down and truly feel what’s been waiting to be heard.
My hope is to gently guide you back into connection—with your body, your emotions, and your deeper sense of self. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, disconnection, self-criticism, or life transitions, I want to help you explore how your values and desires can shape the path forward. Together, we’ll learn to listen more closely to the wisdom already within you and to approach your experiences with greater self-compassion and presence.
You don’t have to sort through it all alone. Therapy with me is grounded in safety, respect, and attunement. We’ll move at a pace that is helpful for you, honoring both the protective strategies you’ve relied on and the growth that’s still possible. Through this process, you can feel more grounded in your body, more integrated in your identity, and more aligned with the life you long to live.
I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certificate in trauma treatment. Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in creative expression—crochet, journaling, and crafting—as well as exploring the world through books, films, movement practices like running and Pilates, and travel that deepens my connection with other cultures.
